Jenga Tanzania (JETA).
is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Tanzania dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable development initiatives.
Guided by the principle of “building together for lasting change”, JETA works hand in hand with youth, women, and marginalized groups to create
opportunities that improve livelihoods, enhance access to essential services, and promote social and economic resilience.
As a community-driven organization, Jenga Tanzania (JETA) focuses on practical and innovative solutions in areas such as education,
health, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, and capacity building. Our goal is to equip individuals and communities with the skills, knowledge, and
resources they need to thrive independently while making a positive contribution to national development.
Jenga Tanzania (JETA) operates transparently and collaborates with government agencies, civil society, and development partners to ensure that its interventions
are inclusive, impactful, and aligned with both local priorities and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

JETA’s strategic direction is shaped by Tanzania’s development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our strategy focuses on:

Our Objectives
To establish an Innovation and Co-Working Space Centre that will provide incubation, capacity-building, holistic financing, and working space for startups working to develop, launch, and grow innovative climate technology, agriculture, health, education, finance, and socio-economic ventures.
Increase the availability and accessibility of healthcare services and facilities, especially in underserved areas.
To support young women and men by skilling them in education, leadership, entrepreneurship, life skills/healthy living, and create platforms for engagement in good governance and democratic processes of the country.
Preserve critical natural resources and biodiversity, Mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change, and encourage practices that reduce environmental impact.
To promote, empower and fostering digital technology innovation to combat social economic, livelihood development, human rights, gender equity and equality.
To provide relief and comfort to orphan and vulnerable communities in Tanzania includes food, clothing, education, homes, medical care and their rights.
Governance Structure
Jenga Tanzania (JETA) operates under a clear and transparent governance framework to ensure accountability,
effectiveness, and community participation. The organization is overseen by a Board of Directors, which provides
strategic leadership, policy guidance, and oversight of organizational performance.
Day-to-day operations are managed by the Executive Director, supported by a professional management team responsible
for program implementation, finance, and administration. At the community level, JETA works with advisory committees
and local representatives to ensure that programs are inclusive, participatory, and aligned with the needs of beneficiaries.
